MUSICAL ARTIST SUBMISSION:

Apply to Perform at BlackAmericana Fest 2026
BlackAmericana Fest invites Black artists rooted in or inspired by Americana, folk, country, blues, bluegrass, roots, and related traditions to apply to perform at our 2026 festival.

This year’s theme is “Still We Sing: Black Protest Traditions in Americana.” We are especially interested in artists whose work reflects the rich legacy of Black resistance, storytelling, cultural memory, joy, and truth-telling within American roots music.

We welcome applications from solo artists and bands whose performances are artistically compelling, culturally grounded, and aligned with the spirit of the festival.

As part of the application, artists will be invited to share more about their music, their story, and how their work connects to this year’s theme.

All applicants will be notified of their status via email by June 1, 2026.
